This is a promo made for surfboard company JC Hawaii. Carl Ackerman produced and edited
the spot, and it promotes the JC Hawaii Surf Team, the surfboards and the surfboard making
instructional films made by Carl Ackerman & John Carper. The footage was licensed from
Larry Haynes (RIP), Josh Pomer and Tony Roberts.
Carl Ackerman was a commercial producer for KOB TV4 for 23 years. This reel shows clips from
several spots that He made with his personal camera while working for KOB. It's a video of
Carl's work,and the spots are owned by KOB TV4.

Carl Ackerman worked as the lead "Rover" cameraman for Luche Libre USA for two seasons shot at Isleta Casino. The show aired on ESPN2.
